Don’t get it twisted, everyone likes an independent woman. Now, have you been dreaming and wishing to be a financially independent woman to no avail? Are you tired of strolling from one company gate to another in search of unavailable white collar job? Have you been searching for a way to achieve that your dream of becoming a financially independent woman and you are about given up? Please don’t give up yet because good news has come your way.

Being a female or will I say a woman is a great advantage for you to even make more money in this present life we live in. Remember, I am not talking about selling your body to get money or unmerited favors, but I am talking of you utilizing your fem
inine power to control the world of riches and wealth. I know by now that you are wondering what I am about to tell you that will make this possible in your life, but believe me, you can only achieve success in life when you have strong faith in yourself that no matter the situation, you must succeed; that is the first step to becoming financially free. If you are still in doubt as to whether you would make it financially or not in life, then you may likely not be able to make it financially in life except on a special grace.

Do you know that as a female, you stand a greater chance of marketing whatever product you are selling than your male counterparts? Maybe you don’t know, but know it now. Most men will prefer to buy from you as a female than from their fellow men, not necessarily for evil intentions, but maybe because they feel that patronizing you will win them your admiration which is what majority of men crave for in life. But I must forewarn you, don’t ever make the mistake of using your body to market whatever business you have, once started, it must continue that way, that’s just the simple secret, and you will definitely get tired of it and it must definitely backfire too.

Every Nigerian girl now cherishes and wishes to be like Linda Ikeji, but almost every Nigerian girl is not ready to do what Linda Ikeji is doing passionately even though they may be better in it more than Linda Ikeji. I want to let you know that before Linda Ikeji started blogging, so many Nigerian guys had been doing same, but because they are male, there blogging career couldn’t go beyond few google search engine results, and may be earning them a peanut income. But look at Linda Ikeji’s blog, it is as popular as forbe’s online magazine with little efforts, just because she is a smart woman who knows what it means to be a female in the twenty first century. What about Bella Naija? You are busy jumping from one social network site to another in search of unavailable rich love, while Linda Ikeji, Bella Naija, etc are busy building their online career doing almost the same thing you do online for fun. Have you ever sat down and wondered how many celebrity men that will be drooling to make you the queen of their hearts if you succeed in becoming a financially independent woman? Have you ever wondered how many great people you will meet if you achieve this goal? Believe me, you can be greater than Linda Ikeji if you take a bold step now. Did I say tomorrow? No, I said NOW!

Linda Ikeji (http://lindaikeji.blogspot.com/) or Bella Naija (www.bellanaija.com) weren’t that tech or internet savvy before they started their blogs, they probably started it out of passion and fun, why not copy from them? I want to inform you that more people will like to visit your site or blog if they discover that you are a female. Some may come to woo you, to win your admiration, etc, and in the process, they get entangled and ends up becoming your online fan and subscriber, which is actually what you need to succeed as a blogger.

To give you an idea of what I am talking about, just post something like this: ‘I am searching for true love, I don’t need money, just love’ on your facbook and twitter walls and watch out the number of comments you would receive on this status update. Try this as a test for your online blogging career.

To become an independent woman, you need to do uniquely independent things. What are some of the independent things you need to do?

1.      Stop depending on men to run your life

2.      Do away with the mentality of ‘I’m a girl, guys ought to take care of my needs’

3.      Define your goal in life- is it to get married, find love, become financially independent, or to run around with different men?

4.      Create a reliable source of income

5.      Reduce your participation on social network sites and monetize your online activities

6.      Cut down your friends, most times they distract you and make you not to be focused in life

7.      Monetize your passions and hobbies

8.      Take internet as a business premises and not as a social platform to catch fun

9.      Stop worrying about love and marriage, they will find you on your way to financial success

10.  Respect men but don’t fear them

Now, how can you become a financially independent woman?

1.      Don’t wait for a white collar job, start a business from scratch, believe me it must grow. If you don’t have the money to start, don’t worry about it, first get a good idea of what type of business you want to venture into, write it down, do an estimate of the total amount of money needed to start it up, and then talk to your siblings, parents, extended family members, friends, colleagues, and most importantly, your church pastor, believe me, you must raise enough money to start up

2.      Start an online business- get a blog and start building an online career, you can learn from Linda Ikeji’s blog or Bella Naija, there’s nothing wrong in learning from successful people. You can start your own modeling company online, navigate through my previous publications on this site and you will find a topic where I discussed that in details

3.      Have you thought about affiliate marketing online and offline? I will be discussing that in the next publication

4.      Partner with your ambitious and focused friend or friends, remember, two good heads are better than one, and when you guys pull your resources together, you can achieve far more than you would individually.
