Is Queen Elizabeth being pushed out by Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles? The royal couple is greedy to be crowned King and Queen as soon as possible. Will Queen Elizabeth give in to the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall’s demands and retire?
Camilla Parker-Bowles and Prince Charles’s determination to force Queen Elizabeth to retire just may pay off! Both were thrilled to see thousands of well-wishers in the town of Nelson line Trafalgar Street as the royal couple continued the New Zealand tour on Saturday, November 7.
In order to prove their increasing popularity Charles and Camilla made several other stops around town before heading to Mahana Vineyard where the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall sampled local wines, cheeses, and seafood.
Reportedly Queen Elizabeth had wanted to make the trip to New Zealand but top advisors suggested that due to Her Majesty’s fragile health the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall should go instead. The long trip overseas would have been quite grueling for the 89-year-old Queen Elizabeth.
Charles and Camilla traveled to New Zealand three years ago and have a good rapport with Prime Minister John Key. This made the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall the logical choice to represent Queen Elizabeth.
Camilla has waited years to be crowned Queen and will do just about anything to ensure that will happen – and the sooner the better as far as the Duchess of Cornwall is concerned. If that means taking over as many Queen Elizabeth’s royal commitments as possible Camilla will happily do so – Prince Charles wife will do just about anything to stay in Queen Elizabeth’s good graces.
Will the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall return from New Zealand only to find that Queen Elizabeth has no intention of retiring? It would be an unprecedented move for a reigning monarch to retire in favor of the next-in-line to the British throne- a move Queen Elizabeth is unlikely to make despite the Prince of Wales demands.
Prince Charles birthday is quickly approaching – the Prince of Wales will turn 67 on November 14. Are Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles hoping that Queen Elizabeth will make a retirement announcement as a birthday gift to Charles?
The royal family and others attend a Remembrance Service at The Cenotaph, Whitehall in London, UK. In attendance was the Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Harry, and Prince William.
