We learnt that Linda Ikeji's blog was removed (deleted) by Google Inc. ( the owner of Blogger.com where Linda's blog is hosted) on possible copyright issues- meaning that Linda Ikeji copies news, gist, stories, etc from people without giving them credit or reference, and making huge money from other people's hardwork.
This should serve as a warning lesson to all Nigerian bloggers who copy people's works (stories, news, etc) without at least mentioning the original owners to give them credit.
If Linda Ikeji's blog could be deleted, that means no blog is beyond sudden death o!! Including Ng Blog, Lol
But I still believe that Google will temper justice with mercy and restore Linda Ikeji's blog soonest.
How you people rejoice over others misfortune never ceases to amaze me.. I believe you should concentrate more on pulling more people to your blog. She is down ,like any other person at one time in their life was, but she is not out. If I were you I will be afraid. Because she will be coming back better and bigger.
ReplyDeleteAs regards your post that SDK is now the biggest blog in Nigeria. You need to think properly. Don't be blinded with bias. In proper perspective, what are your concrete basis. Apart from all you listed , which is not reckoned with in a real practical world where fact and figures speak.
Who pulls the highest traffic( ask Alexa.com)
Who pulls the most money. ( see for your self)
If this 2 are not enough criteria , I wonder what else is. Stop being biased . say it as it is. May be one day you too will grow to be among the top. Don't start this way. She is miles ahead of you all. And you can take that to the bank. Any thing about her draws traffic.
Have you checked how many people comment on your other post about any topic compared to when you post about her ? See the difference, she pulls traffic even on dead blogs. When you are big , you are in charge. Grow up
The problem with Nigerians is that we are too sentimental with everything. When will we Nigerians stop all these they are hating on me mentality pls? Google is a fair corporate body who isn't biased. If Linda convinces Google enough that she's not infringing into ppls copyright without acknowledgment, they will re-instate her blog.
DeleteOf course Linda Ikeji blog is a popular brand and she can always recreate her blog and get back most of her fans, but that doesn't make her blog the most relevant as at this day.

DeleteLinda like many other Nigerian bloggers are fond of copying peoples's works without giving them proper credit, and its bad no matter what! My works have been copied by many Nigerian bloggers without credit and I also complained but to Nigerians is nothing! Another culprit is: LailasBlog....she copies ppl and claim she is d real owner, she should wait for day of judgment.
Trendysturvs.blogspot.com was also deleted early this year for who knows why. So its not about witch-hunting Linda but doing what's right.
Linda makes millions recycling news and gossip without hiring young talented Nigerian writers and some phographers to fetch authentic news for her.
I once said it that Linda is a greedy, selfish blogger, u guys dissed me! Here is the outcome!
If she returns back, let her hire talented writers/journalists/photographers and stop being greedy and pocketing the money alone and flashing in ppls eyes to see.
Advice her to learn some lessons from this and stop crying more than the bereaved!
It is unfortunate that another and more successful blogger had a set back and instead of encouraging and comforting her, you are celebrating it. If you must grow, dont envy those ahead. (if you like, dont publish this)

It was compiled since last year...we have no time for hating or whatever, we are here to share our opinion and we aren't begging for readers nor comments....everyone can't be a millionaire from blogging...Linda found her own success via blogging, we found ours via other ways, only here to share our views and help upcoming and talented bloggers get noticed for free!

Dis is my second tym of visitin ur so called blog & 4rm d first tym I visited, I realised u hate dis young sucessful lady linda.
