This picture caught the attention of bystanders who posted
on Twitter after this woman stripped down and embraced the Nelson Mandela

The woman then proceeded to embrace the statue, leading to
bystanders taking pictures and posting them on social media.
Twitter was abuzz with people retweeting the picture along
with comments including one from Henderson which said, “@SAcrimefighters no
respect to the old man” in response to the image posted by @SAcrimefighters.
The incident took place today and follows reports of banners
being placed on the statue on Sunday by Hamas supporters just a few days prior,
on 26 July.
It is unclear why the woman stripped next to the statue and
hugged it.
