Tom Cruise Wants a New Wife: Auditioning Actresses For “A Real-Life Marriage”

According to the latest issue of Star Magazine, Tom Cruise is using auditions for Mission Impossible 5 to find his next wife. Well, if that was true, it would make a lot of sense and kill two birds with one stone.

Besides, what’s the difference between auditioning for a movie and auditioning to be Tom Cruise’s wife? It’s the same amount of pressure and you’d probably get the same boost to your career.

According to Star’s supposed source, “Tom is looking for a renowned actress between the ages of 30 and 39 who is open to a real-life marriage. Tom’s strict requirements for love both on and off the screen stem from his fear of being mocked for reaching out of his league and choosing a woman who is too young.”

I guess Tom’s been reading the tabloids a bit too much, no? People often rag on him for dating out of his league, both with Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes. Either way, at least he’s being age-appropriate? Nobody wants to see a 5o-year-old man with a 20-something girl, especially not as romantic leads in a movie.

Anyway, we already know that Tom used to audition actresses to be his wife, but he’s smartly laid low since Scientology’s reputation has gone under the stinker. And now, he’s found a sneaky way to camouflage the audition process, via reads for Mission Impossible 5. Alas, it wouldn’t be surprising if he found his next wife this way, but I’m guessing that after the debacle with Katie Holmes, he’s going to find someone a lot lower profile this time around.
