Okay, just in case you haven’t heard or read the latest
gossip flying around town….its no other but the news of our dear Pastor Chris
Okotie, the owner of the Household of God Church International, who recently
bought a Rolls Royce Coupe, the 2014 Bespoke Edition, to celebrate 30 years of
his presumed born-again Christian and 27 years as a pastor in his own church.
According to Punch newspaper reports, they got the
revelation through Okotie’s close aide, who also went further to disclose to Punch
that the pastor spent N120m (approximately $USD750,000) to acquire the exorbitant
car. It was also gathered that Pastor Chris Okotie had earlier spent N33m to
acquire a Range Rover Autobiography to mark a milestone of his church. You can
see details after the page jump:
The source, in a text message sent to Punch newspaper, said:
“Pastor Okotie just bought a Rolls Royce Coupe, 2014 Bespoke
Edition at N120m to mark his 30 years as a born-again Christian and 27 years as
a pastor.
He had earlier bought a Range Rover (Autobiography) 2014 Model for N33m, reputed to be the costliest SUV in the world to mark this ministry’s milestone.”
Going by the checks on the Internet, this Rolls Royce that
Pastor Christ just acquired should be around N65m, but it could cost much more
than that if it armored.
Fifty-five-year-old Okotie was in the news recently for the
controversial comments he made during a church service in which he claimed that
“all Catholics will go to hell,” and referred to Pope Francis as anti-Christ….eyes
are watching….
