The Nigerian junior national team returned to Nigeria on
Saturday November 9, 2013 after lifting the 15th series of the FIFA Under-17
World Cup tournament held in the United Arab Emirates.
As part of the celebrations, Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan hosted them yesterday, Sunday November 10, 2013 at the Aso rock villa and the President as part of national appreciation, gave each of the young players N2million naira.

Chief Coach: 3million naira
Assistants: 2.5million naira
Team Doctor(s): 500 thousand naira
Physiotherapist: 500 thousand naira
Team Secrertary: 500 thousand naira
Technical Officer: 300 thousand naira
Team Coordinator: 300 thousand naira
Media Officer: 300 thousand naira
Curator: 300 thousand naira
Players: 2million naira each

Assistants: 2.5million naira

The players and key members of the supporters club will equally be given national honours at a later date.
President Jonathan appealed to state and local governments as well as individual and corporate organisations to also honour the players.
