Reports reaching our desk earlier this morning have it that an Associated Airline plane carrying the body of late governor of Ondo state, Olusegun Agagu from Lagos to Akure has crashed in Lagos, just near Sahara oil tank farm at Ikeja.
According to eyewitness present at the scene, the crash happened at the local wing of the airport, close to the section where JET-A1, plane fuel is stored.
As at the time of filing in this report, fire service officials were seen evacuating the occupants of the plane and it is also feared that the son of former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo, Gbenga Obasanjo was killed in the plane crash alongside 15 other casualties...though one of our tip off said there seems to be rise in the number of dead counts....
