In the early hours of yesterday, an unidentified black man,
who was later discovered to be suffering from mental illness, sat down quietly
at the National Mall in Washington DC, US, sprinkled petrol all over his body,
and quietly set himself ablaze.
He didn't make a move from where he was sitting as if he
wasn’t feeling the pains of the burning flame, as the fire continued to consume
his body.
People around the area had to run towards his direction to
rescue him from the burning flames, though it was later gathered that he sustained
first degree burns, which is a critical one.
