A presumably tired BBC News presenter
raised a few eyebrows when he delivered a live bulletin holding a stack of
photocopier paper which he mistook for his iPad.

in the TV studio talking about ‘drunk
tanks’ when he accidentally picked up a pile of A4 paper instead of his

Ever the professional, the 51-year-old
kept on going without a peep despite his hilarious mistake, while baffled
viewers tried to imagine what was going on.
‘This morning as Simon McCoy was
preparing to introduce this story, instead of picking up his tablet to hold as
he went to air, he mistakenly picked up a ream of paper that was sitting next
to it,’ said a spokeswoman for BBC News.
