Russian President Vladmir Putin Divorces Wife, Lyudmila Putina, To Marry A Younger Girl!

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that he and wife Lyudmila Putina are divorcing one another. It was a somewhat subtle announcement of the news that the two were parting ways almost 30 years after being married.

The former couple attended a ballet and then emerged from the place smiling and making the official announcement. People magazine has the details:

The end of the marriage of the Russian president and Lyudmila Putina less than two months shy of their 30th anniversary came on state television after a Thursday evening that started out like a model of domestic contentment – a devoted husband taking his wife out for an artsy interlude.
After the performance of Esmeralda at the Great Kremlin Palace, the two came into a luxurious room to speak to a reporter. “Excellent. Great music, excellent production,” Putin, 60, said, and Lyudmila echoed his praise.

The reporter present asked about the rumors making the rounds that Vladimir and Lyudmila not living together. Then, the Russian prez smiled and looked at his wife and said, “This is so.”
After a few more comments, the reporter said, “I am afraid to say this word ‘divorce’.”
Lyudmila commented, “Yes, this is a civilized divorce.”
Perhaps now that they are officially going their separate ways, Vlad can go hook up and marry that hot gymnast who is less than half of his age? We wouldn’t doubt it! Those reports first surfaced back in 2008, but they were swept under the rug.
