Dr. Alloysius Aguwa, an indigene of Umueze, Ezuhu Nguru in Aboh Mbaise L.G.A, Imo State, met his untimely death along the East-West road, Yenogoa in Bayelsa, when a vehicle, Mercedes Benz G550 carrying him skidded off the highway and plunged into a river.
He was a commissioner for petroleum resources during former Imo State Governor, Ikedi Ohakim's regime, and until his death, he worked as a consultant for United Nations (UN), and was returning back to PortHarcourt, after inspecting a UN project in Yenogoa.
May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace.
He was laid to rest today, 24th May, 2013.
