Former American President, George Bush Turns Painter? (VIDEO)

Artist Bonnie Flood of Cumming, Georgia spent one month in Boca Grande, Florida teaching a very special student to paint, former President George W. Bush. Flood usually paints in her Georgia home and occasionally conducts painting workshops in Florida, which is where “W” heard about her and requested her instruction. The artist spent six hours a day with the President and his sister-in-law Maggie, teaching the pair to mix paints and use proper brush strokes. Flood was not intimidated teaching the former POTUS and said, "When I would really wanted him to do something, I would say, 'Mr. President you know that you don't do it that way.'

President Bush began painting dogs with Flood estimating that he painted at least 50 dogs. Eventually Bush progressed from the canine subject matter to painting landscapes like his Texas ranch. All of his paintings signed “43.” Flood said the former President learned quickly and, “He has such a passion for painting, it's amazing. He's going to go down in the history books as a great artist."
