A reader of Ngozikanwiro Blog just sent me this not-so-clear picture of a navy officer trying to stop Police men from arresting a bus driver and dragging his bus to their station. According to the eye-witness, the navy man was inside the bus when the Police officers stopped the bus driver with no justifiable reason, and the navy officer in turn, tried to stop them from arresting the driver. And this incident was happening directly in front of the Oshodi military cantonment, so the army guys nearby ran to join effort with the navy guy to stop the Police from making the unprecedented arrest.
According to the eye-witness, this has caused a big traffic jam along that Oshodi Charity bus stop axis, directly in front of Royal Exchange Insurance company. We will keep you updated as the news unfolds...but we pray this doesn't result to any serious casualty as the eye-witness said that the different force men were already brandishing their weapons in readiness for action.
