Witness Video Records a Bank robbery Attack!

The robbery, involving a car smashing into a Halifax bank in Welwyn Garden City, was filmed by a passer-by. The video posted online shows a Nissan Micra in the Howardsgate Halifax bank after it had smashed through the doorway. The witness continues to film as the robber speeds away from the bank and drives along the pavement in Welwyn Garden City before turning onto the road. The robbery took place on Thursday at around 3.30pm and police have revealed the robber stole a large amount of cash. Police have recovered the car used in the crime but are appealing for information. People are urged to call Hert's Police's non-emergency number 101 if they have any information.
