Vacancy has arisen within the Subsea department in Exprotech
Nigeria Limited for the following outlined positions:
SENIOR SUBSEA TECHNICIAN- EX/007
Purpose for the job
To run subsea equipment offshore to allow the client to
conduct successful, safe operations.
Principal Accountabilities are but not limited to:
-
Successful tool runs allowing client to complete
operations safely with minimum ‘down time’
-
To be able to conduct subsea operations
unsupervised
-
To broaden scope of knowledge to become a more
flexible member of the team (through competence system)
-
Ensure the equipment is fit for purpose which is
essential for the success of operations
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Not more than 40 years
-
Must possess an Engineering Qualification and
any other professional Engineering certification with at least 3 years
experience in similar position
SUBSEA ENGINEER- EX/0071B
Purpose for the job
To run subsea equipment offshore to allow the client to
conduct successful, safe operations.
Principal Accountabilities are but not limited to:
-
Design products which are safe to build and
operate, conform to the original specification & meet certifying authority requirements,
are reliable, easily maintained & user friendly, cost effective, taking
into account material used and manufacturing techniques
-
Produce Subsea project “Well Files” within the
Advitium PDM system to document the design process and provide product history
and full design accountability
-
Workshop supports (design/modify assembly tools,
create drawings, trouble shoot related problems and damaged equipments)
-
Perform all relevant engineering calculations to
verify design integrity
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Not more than 40 years
-
Must possess an Engineering Qualification and
any other professional Engineering certification with at least 3 years
experience in similar position
SUBSEA TECHNICIAN- EX/0072C
Purpose for the job
To run subsea equipment offshore to allow the client to
conduct successful, safe operations.
Principal Accountabilities are but not limited to:
-
Accurate completion of client service records to
allow correct charges to be set against client
-
To be able to conduct subsea operations
unsupervised
-
Successful tool runs allowing client to complete
operations safely with minimum ‘down time’
-
Tool preparation includes taking stock of
equipment, redressing and testing of equipment and visual inspection
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
-
Minimum of 2 years experience in similar
position within oil industry
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Engineering or any other related science
qualification
SUBSEA FOREMAN- EX0073D
Overall purpose
To be actively present on the workshop/yard floor to monitor
process and equipment quality and monitoring of person’s compliance with
HSE/Quality/Maintenance procedures
The principal accountabilities:
-
To liaise with the workshop supervisor on a
daily basis for information on workshop project plan activities to meet
operational, project and engineering delivery schedule
-
Interacting with workshop persons to ensure
HSE/Quality/Maintenance/Engineering procedures are being complied with
-
Reporting non-conformance against standards and
rules to the workshop supervisor and subsea operation coordinator
-
To assist the workshop supervisor in monitoring
all personnel working in the workshop/yard to ensure they are adequately
supervised and given necessary guidance and support
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Not more than 35 years
-
Must possess at least an OND with at least two (2)
years experience in similar position
