KATE MIDDLETON‘s painter, PAUL EMSLEY, has broken his silence after receiving “vicious” criticism towards his portrait of the Duchess of Cambridge… and he says he is “still happy with it.”

Not many were pleased with the finished product of the pregnant Kate Middleton‘s first official portrait—painted by award-winning Scottish artist Paul Emsley—when it was unveiled earlier this month at the National Portrait Gallery in London after 3-and-a-half months of creation.
