Beyonce and Jay Z have broken yet another global music
record as they land atop the Hot Tours chart, having wrapped the North
American leg of their On the Run tour that played stadiums in 16 markets during
a six-week span in the summer. Box office grosses totaled $96 million from
ticket sales reported by tour promoter Live Nation for 19 sold-out performances
during the summertime trek that kicked off June 25 in Florida and wrapped Aug.
6 in California.
