Boko Haram and Nigerian Army Are Fighting Fiercely In Bama Town NOW!

As people all over the world are busy celebrating and thanking God for keeping them alive to see the new month, Boko Haram militants instead chose to launch an attack on Bama, the largest city in Borno state with the aim of taking over the town.

According to reports reaching us, the militants arrived the town very early in the morning of today and started shooting mortars, RPGs and hurling grenades but they were fiercely resisted by Nigerian troops stationed in the village. Sahara Reporters reports that a fierce battle is currently going on there between Boko Haram men and Nigerian troops.

We also gathered that the Emir of Bama and hundreds of residents have fled the city to the state capital, Maiduguri, to avoid being caught up in the crossfire. Bama is a very strategic city in Borno state with a lot of military hardware and it is believed that if Boko Haram men capture Bama, it will be very easy for them to move into the state capital, Maiduguri. Let’s all pray for our gallant Nigerian soldiers sacrificing their lives to stop these blood thirsty militants.
