Breaking News: FG Sacks All Resident Doctors in Nigeria!

The Federal Government of Nigeria has issued an official sack letter notification to all Nigerian doctors on strike. Details and supporting documents to follow...stay with Ng blog for updates.

  1. Ok good but I ask after that what next? Is that the right thing to do or to try n have a good round table talk with them, somethings our government do things without looking at the after effect cus finally is the poor citizens that will suffer it. God help us all

    1. But they bit more than they could chew...besides, most of our so-called doctors aren't in it for the passion and love to save life but solely to make money...which is uncalled for. Now that Ebola virus outbreak is on the increase in Nigeria, our so called medical guys are on the run and they still want the best pay for doing nothing.

      Visit government owned hospitals and see how these so called doctors abandon patients for their private clinics....go to teaching hospitals and see things for yourself...

  2. Govt should dialogue with them and both sides should shift grounds to strike a balance. Sacking them is not a solution but compounds it. Right from IBB era, striking workers have severally been sacked, but after govt'll bow and restate them. Why taking an action that is bound to be reversed in the near future, i don't see any wisdom in this. God save Nigeria. Innocent.
