TRANS-Nationwide Express (TRANEX) Plc Workers Shut Down Company for Poor Workers’ Welfare [Video]

One of the biggest indigenous courier companies in Nigeria, Trans-Nationwide Express, a.k.a TRANEX workers today morning shut down their company corporate office in Oshodi for poor workers’ welfare and management negligence.

Some of the major things they are protesting for are:
-          1. No health insurance benefit
-         2.  No remittance of Maritime dues
-         3.  No remittance of tax
-         4.  No increment in salary

You can see video and more photos of the protest below after the page jump:

Very pathetic, the plight of Nigerians working in indigenous companies and other foreign owned companies...and the federal government and labor union are watching things like this happen....government need to intervene in this work-poor-pay-and-welfare situation in most Nigerian companies....Nigerians aren't slaves for Christ's sake!
