Memorable Photos from Nelson Mandela's funeral in Qunu, South Africa

 
South Africa’s Nelson Mandela was laid to rest today December 15th at his ancestral hometown in Qunu in South Africa. His burial took place today after a four-hour state funeral service held this morning, in which more than 5,000 people from all around the world, including top world leaders and personalities like- former US president Bill Clinton, top American talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson and UK Prince Charles.

While the burial was taken place, a military jet fly-past and 21-gun salute was going on as his body was being lowered into the grave.
