ASUU & Federal Government Sign MoU To Call Off Strike?

Some days ago, the federal government withdrew its no-work-no-pay ultimatum to the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU and following CBN’s confirmation of the N200bn payment, the Federal Government and ASUU yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Abuja, aimed at bringing an end to the six-months strike that has kept Nigerian university students at home for a now disturbing period.  Should things work out fine today, ASUU may call off the strike next week when ASUU presents the MoU at its National Executive meeting, NEC next week.  I am praying fervently that this whole drama comes to an end.
