In a vicious attack, a man walked into a woman’s home, beat her, molest her, and then passed out on top of her.
Prosecutors
in Omaha, Nebraska have charged 19-year-old Sergio Martinez-Perez with
first-degree murder and sexual assault after his victim, a 93-years-old
widow, died of her wounds. Louise Sollowin died three days after the man
went into her house and attacked her, Omaha Police said.
The
grandma was found by an officer, who was sent to check on the woman at
her home in South Omaha, where she had lived for the past 71 years.
Sollowin was found about 9:00 am Sunday in her bedroom, and
Martinez-Perez, 19, was reportedly found naked and unconscious on top of
the woman when police arrived.
Authorities
believe Martinez-Perez entered the house through a back door, which was
unlocked. Prosecutors said that Martinez-Perez admitted assaulting and molesting the elderly woman after a night of drinking because he was "angry
with women".
Sollowin’s family members are
angry and broken-hearted over the senseless killing of the innocent
woman. "My grandmother loved her family and her family loved her. She
was all about family,” granddaughter Teresa Hartzell said.
