Sean Kingston has been accused of gang raping a fan in 2010, and she is now suing him for it. Sean, 23, has been served with a $5 million lawsuit from the fan, who claims that she went to his hotel room for a meet and greet, when she was forced to have sex with the singer, and then with his bodyguard and a band member.
Sean Kingston Gang Rape — Singer Sued For Alleged Crime
Sean and his bodyguard allegedly gang raped a drunk teenager in the singer’s hotel room in 2010, reports TMZ. Sean has since denied all allegations, and he has filed legal documents to say the sex was consensual.Carissa Capeloto, now 22, reportedly claims that she was raped by Sean, his bodyguard and a member from his band after his concert in Seattle. She claims she had been smoking marijuana and drinking shots of vodka, making her ”obviously intoxicated, incapable of consent,” according to the lawsuit.
She is now suing all three men, and Carissa alleges she had been invited to Sean’s hotel room for a meet-and-greet following a Justin Bieber concert, but when she showed up he was waiting naked on his bed.
Carissa claims that the bodyguard picked her up and placed her on the bed with Sean, and all three of the men proceeded to gang rape her, until she was rescued by a friend. At the time, the police were called and Carissa was taken to the hospital where she says she was treated for physical injuries consistent with rape.
In the lawsuit she has said that her live has been ruined, and she can barely sleep, and has mood swings and panic attacks. She is hoping to win five million dollars. Criminal charges were previously dropped in 2010 after the police deemed that Carissa wasn’t credible.
Sean’s trial is set for Nov. 2013.
