Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha Greeting Ndi Eze Ji At Iri Ji Mbaise Festival! [Photo]

Yesterday, 15th August 2013, was a glamourous day in Mbaise community in Imo State as they celebrated their widely-acclaimed New Yam Festival called: "Iri Ji Mbaise".

During the colorful ceremony that usually attracts prominent indigenes of the community living home and abroad, the Deputy Speaker of The Nigerian House of Representative, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, who happens to be an indigene of the popular community was there to mark the ceremony with his people.

You can see him greeting the titled men known as: Ndi Eze Ji at the Iri Ji Mbaise ceremony.

....and who said culture should be thrown away by the way? Nice one Hon. Emeka.
