Good news to all creative writers of Nigerian origin reading
this. Just today, 10th April 2013, The Almighty Fidelity Bank Plc,
which seven years ago began the International Creative Writing Workshop Series
to encourage aspiring writers and to preserve Nigeria’s storytelling culture,
has taken their act to the digital platform.
The hugely successful initiative and its wide acceptance has
spurred the bank to launch the Fidelity Creative Writing Blog and Literary Café
Weekly Writing Competition.

The new series will have contestants compete weekly by
posting their entries to a site developed specifically for this purpose. Every
week, the bank’s creative writing blog (www.creative.writing.fidelitybankplc.com)
will host 10 of the best works which anyone can read by simply visiting the
link on the bank’s official website- www.fidelitybankplc.com.
