EXPOSED: How Nigerian Bloggers Copy Other Blogs Without Reference!

It is so disheartening how Nigerian bloggers copy wholesomely from another blog and refuse to reference or credit the original blog. Is this not an act of THEFT? How do you feel when you go to another blog, copy its content even without editing it and then re-post on your own blog without at least giving credit to the original blog that owns that write-up? You feel good?

This was exactly what happened to me...I was so infuriated to stumble upon my original work sent to me by a reader, published on- http://hotnaijanews.com/2013/03/04/true-life-story-of-how-i-contracted-hiv/

The most painful part of it is this- the blog owner didn't even cared to say- copied, culled, etc from or source....he/she just lifted my work and published on his/her website without giving my blog the credit of being the original owner, is that right? Is it honorable?

Some time last year, talkofnaija.com also did same, and I also saw same on nairaland, but why are Nigerian bloggers and writers like this please?

We all need to jointly do something about this soonest, just not happy with "hotnaijanews.com", please go back and edit that article and give my blog a credit.

Imagine, even www.informationng.com placed it on their front page as a sticky story, and also gave the credit to "hotnaijanews.com", what a mess?
