Chris Brown and Rihanna‘s on-again, off-again relationship is firmly in the on position, as proven by the romantic way the two celebrated her birthday in Hawaii recently! Chris Brown’s Love Letter To Rihanna....

A source close to the couple tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that in mid-January 2012, Chris, 23, presented Rihanna, 24, with a heartfelt letter he’d carefully written for her, pouring his heart out. “He did that last month sometime,” our insider says. “She was floored by what he said in that but honestly…that’s between them. He went hella deep in that letter and put all his feelings out on the line for her.”

Our source tells us that Rihanna found the letter so touching, it made her cry! “She couldn’t believe what she read — and she Ri’s the type of girl that cries when shit move her and that letter did,” they say.
Breezy Opens Up To The Press

Chris isn’t just opening up to Rihanna, either. The usually tight-lipped singer spoke rather openly with media outlets when he attended Elton John‘s annual Oscar viewing party in West Hollywood on Feb. 24.

He spoke with The Mirror about that horrible night in 2009 when he assaulted Rihanna, saying, “That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake. Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals.”
Rihanna’s Forgiven Chris, He Says

He said that, after months of “serious making up,” he’d been forgiven. “She loves me, what can I say? I’m forgiven…but, yes, I worked hard for it.”

He added, “People attack me and criticize me, it happens all the time. But they don’t know me, and they don’t know us. It doesn’t bother me any more. Other people can judge us but they don’t know anything.”
