ANGELINA JOLIE To Direct “Unbroken” About Heroic Athlete And World War 2 Survivor

ANGELINA JOLIE will be directing a non-fictional movie titled “Unbroken” about a heroic athlete and World War 2 survivor, according to the latest Hollywood news.

Finally, a chance to prove herself! Details after the cut....

The stunning movie actress will have another chance to show her true directorial prowess after tragically bombing the box offices with her debut project in 2011, “In the Land of Blood and Honey,” for which she allegedly plagiarized an existing story line.

The true-to-life film, titled “Unboken,” will focus on Louis Zamperini—a former U.S. Olympic athlete-turned-bombardier and World War 2 prisoner and survivor whose horrifying yet inspiring story was initially picked up in the 1950s.

Fortunately, a renewed interest was formed when the “Seabiscuit” author Laura Hillenbrand published “Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption.”

Jolie, who will be using Hillenbrand‘s book as the basis for the film (also to avoid further lawsuits), said in a statement:

“I read Laura Hillenbrand’s brilliant book, and I was so moved by Louie Zamperini’s heroic story, I immediately began to fight for the opportunity to make this film.

She continued:

“Louie is a true hero and a man of immense humanity, faith and courage. I am deeply honored to have the chance to tell his inspiring story.”

Something tells us this one’s going too make it big.

Time to show us all, Angie!
